Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, who is riding on the success of the action thriller Jaat, has kicked off the shooting of his upcoming film, Border 2. He has reached Dehradun to continue the filming.
He took to his Instagram Story and shared a video from Dehradun on Sunday. The actor showed a sunset and penned in the caption, “Reached 'Border shooting wild weather and beautiful sunset in Dehradun."

Previously, Sunny Deol shared a video and teased that he would soon start the shooting of his highly anticipated Border 2. He said in the video, “Kuch dino me mai apne border ki shooting ke liye nikal jaunga (I will leave for Border shooting in a few days)."
The actor is all set to reprise his role in Border 2 after two decades. The sequel also features Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in key roles. The film serves as a sequel to JP Dutta's 1997 war epic Border. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is set to release in the theatres on January 23, 2026.
Meanwhile, filmmaker JP Dutta will serve as a producer on the sequel alongside his daughter Nidhi Dutt via JP Films. Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar will also produce under the banner of T-Series.
The actor is also scheduled to star in Jaat 2. He recently announced Jaat 2: On To A New Mission and revealed a poster of the film. He also confirmed that Gopichand Malineni will return to direct the upcoming sequel. The film will be co-produced by Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Y, TG Vishwa Prasad, and Mythri Movie Makers.
