The film Charak explores the intense and dark Charak Puja ritual in parts of Bengal, highlighting how certain acts done in the name of devotion can cross into inhumane territory.
The film aims to spark a discussion on blind faith, inherited trauma, and the cost of silence in deeply patriarchal societies.
