South OTT releases to watch this week: From JSK Janaki V. State of Kerala to Good Day
South Indian movies are still popular on OTT platforms, giving viewers at home a lot of different tales and amazing performances. A lot of new movies in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada will come out between August 11 and 17, 2025.
JSK—Janaki V. State of Kerala (August 15 | ZEE5) Pravin Narayanan directed this gripping courtroom drama, which stars Suresh Gopi and Anupama Parameswaran. It follows Janaki Vidhyadharan, a survivor who is fighting for justice, and a famous lawyer who is defending the accused.

Vyasanasametham Bandhumithradhikal (Manorama Max, August 15) Joemon Jyothir and Ashwathy Chand Kishor helped S. Vipin write a family play. It demonstrates how hard it is for a small-town shopkeeper to deal with his daughter's engagement, an untimely death, and family difficulties that are getting worse.

Good Day (SunNXT, Aug. 15) N. Aravindhan directed this drama, while Porrna Js Michael wrote it. Prithiviraj Ramalingam and Myna Nandhini are in it. It is going from theaters to online, which gives folks another chance to view it.

Yaadhum Ariyaan (August 15 | Simply South) M. Gopi authored a cabin-in-the-woods thriller in which fear, bad choices, and mounting panic lead to disaster.
Akkenam (Aug 15 | SunNXT) Keerthi Pandian and Arun Pandian are back again in an action thriller following Anbirkiniyal (2021). This July theatrical movie, which is now available on OTT, has a lot of conflict between the father and daughter.
