The 2013 romance drama Raanjhanaa, starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor, is making its way back to theatres on February 28. PVR Cinemas, a well-known multiplex chain, made the announcement on Instagram, stating, “Some love stories deserve an encore!” Fans of the movie will get the chance to relive the story at PVR INOX cinemas.
The film, which became a hit for its emotional depth and memorable performances, tells the story of Kundan (played by Dhanush), a young man from a small town. Kundan has been in love with his childhood friend, Zoya (Sonam Kapoor), for years. However, Zoya is in love with Akram (Abhay Deol), a city boy, and wants to marry him. Despite this, Kundan does not give up on his feelings and tries relentlessly to win her heart. The film also features performances by Swara Bhaskar and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, which added to its charm.

In related news, a spin-off of Raanjhanaa titled Tere Ishk Mein has also been announced. The new film stars Dhanush alongside Kriti Sanon. A teaser for the movie introduces Kriti’s character, Mukti, and shows a powerful scene where she walks through a riotous mob, hinting at the intensity of the story.
