In a recent appearance on The Right Angle With Sonal Kalra – Season 2, Sonakshi opened up about her dad’s unwavering support — and the one film he still holds closest to his heart. “My dad is my biggest fan,” she said with a grin.

“He’s that typical dad who truly believes his daughter can do no wrong. But when it comes to Dabangg, there’s just something different in his eyes when he talks about it. That film will always be his favourite.”

It’s a sweet revelation — and one that’s come at just the right time. Dabangg recently completed 15 years since its release, a film that not only introduced Sonakshi to the big screen, but also gave us Rajjo — a character that quietly made her mark in a loud, action-packed world.

The plot was grounded by Rajjo's quiet strength, warmth, and genuineness and Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey's swagger and style stole the show. Sonakshi's character was the emotional rock—steady, honest, and subtly strong—rather than merely the love interest.
