After the massive success of Goodachari in 2018, Adivi Sesh is back with the much-anticipated sequel, tentatively titled G2. Directed by Vinoy Kumar Sirigineedi, this spy-thriller promises to take fans on another thrilling adventure.

While the first installment featured Sobhita Dhulipala as the female lead, the sequel introduces Wamiqa Gabbi in her place. Wamiqa, who recently shot to fame with her stellar performance in Baby John, has taken on the mantle, leaving fans curious about how the chemistry between her and Adivi Sesh will unfold.

The ensemble cast of G2 includes Emraan Hashmi, Madhu Shalini, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, and Supriya Yarlagadda. The recently released poster featuring Adivi and Wamiqa teases an adrenaline-fueled adventure that fans are eagerly awaiting.

Adivi Sesh, who is also the screenwriter of G2, has been working on the story since 2022. The sequel is set to naturally continue the narrative established in the first film, further exploring the world of espionage and intrigue.

Initially, fans speculated that Sobhita Dhulipala would reprise her role in the sequel, but the announcement of Wamiqa Gabbi has shifted the spotlight. While some fans expressed disappointment over the change, others are excited to see Wamiqa bring her fresh energy to the franchise.

In addition to G2, Adivi Sesh is set to collaborate with Mrunal Thakur on Dacoit, another highly anticipated project.
