Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot starrer Snow White was released in theatres on March 21 and has received mixed reviews from the critics. The American musical fantasy drama film had high expectations but it didn't do well in India on its first day.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned only Rs 0.65 crore, which is less than Rs 1 crore. The film had an average occupancy rate of 8.02% on Friday, with varying rates throughout the day in India.

The movie had a 5.17 per cent Hindi occupancy on day 1. The reports further suggested that the film had 3.36 per cent Hindi occupancy in the morning shows, 5.86 per cent in the afternoon shows, 5.13 per cent in the evening shows and 6.33 per cent in the night shows.

However, it had a strong start in other countries. Deadline has reported that Snow White earned USD 15.5 million on its first Friday in North America, with USD 3.5 million of that coming from Thursday night previews.

The movie's production budget was reportedly between USD 250-270 million, although the exact cost hasn't been officially confirmed.
