Singer Demi Lovato and her long-time partner, Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, were married in a private and romantic ceremony on Sunday, May 25, in California.
Lovato, 32, looked stunning as she walked down the aisle wearing a custom "pearl white" gown designed by Vivienne Westwood, which featured a cathedral-length tulle veil and a corset-style bodice.
“I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time,” she shared with Vogue. “When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted], I often found myself coming back to Vivienne’s designs — specifically how the silhouettes really complement the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,” she added.
Collaborating closely with Westwood's design team, Lovato expressed sheer delight with the final result: “I love everything about the dress.”
The celebrations didn’t end there. For the reception, she changed into a second Westwood creation — a sophisticated ivory silk satin column dress featuring a draped corset top and delicate broken pearls cascading from the neckline. “It’s a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special,” she said.
The couple threw a rehearsal dinner the night before, according to Vogue, which featured a run-through of the ceremony conducted by celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss. This was followed by a private dinner with close friends and family.
Lovato has been open about her deep love for Jutes, expressing her excitement on Valentine’s Day earlier this year via Instagram. “Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that,” Lovato wrote alongside sweet photos of them posing together next to a vintage Porsche. "I’m obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can’t wait to grow old with you and start a family together Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life. I love you honey!!!"
Jutes and Lovato made their relationship public for the first time in August 2022.
