Eid is always synonymous with Salman’s films making massive splashes at the box office.
The action-packed drama, coupled with Salman’s larger-than-life screen presence, has garnered decent attention.
The film's reviews were not good with critics calling it a weak Salman Khan film.
Money Control's reviewer Abhishek Srivastava said: "‘Sikandar’ aims for grandeur but stumbles into mediocrity, offering style without substance and action without impact. Even Salman Khan’s larger-than-life presence can't rescue this uninspired spectacle, weighed down by a weak screenplay, outdated storytelling, and forgettable performances that fail to leave an impression on audiences.
Salman Khan is paired opposite the stunning Rashmika Mandanna in Sikandar. Film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by the master storyteller A.R. Murugadoss.
The film is running successfully in theatres since March 30.
