Sidharth Malhotra to work with producer Mahaveer Jain and director Raaj Shaandilyaa in upcoming comedy film: Report

Sidharth Malhotra, currently filming for Param Sundari, has reportedly signed up another upcoming film with producer Mahaveer Jain.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, producer Mahaveer Jain is gearing up for his next cinematic venture, which promises to be a full-fledged entertainer. This upcoming film will be directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, known for his flair in creating commercial crowd-pleasers. The project is expected to begin filming in September 2025.

The concept is said to have the strength and versatility to evolve into a distinct, high-concept franchise. The screenplay has been penned by Sanjeev, adding further intrigue to the project’s creative team, as per the reports.

Mrighdeep Singh Lamba will be co-producing the film. "With a yet untitled comic entertainer and a creature comedy, Mahaveer Jain is all set to entertain the audience in 2025. Both the films have unique scripts, and have been designed for a large-scale entertainment," the source further added.

Sidharth Malhotra will be next seen in Param Sundari, starring alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Helmed by Tushar Jalota, the film will depict a love story that bridges two distinctly different worlds. At its heart is the tale of a spirited "North ka munda" whose life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a graceful "South ki Sundari," setting the stage for a vibrant cultural and emotional journey.

Back in December, the makers caught everyone off guard with an unexpected announcement of the film, revealing the first-look posters of Sidharth and Janhvi on Instagram and sparking instant buzz.

On the personal front, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani announced their pregnancy recently in February, stating that "The greatest gift of our lives Coming soon".
