Shehnaaz Gill and Yo Yo Honey Singh drop groovy track ‘When and Where’ ahead of Ikk Kudi release

Shehnaaz Gill is gearing up for her upcoming Punjabi social drama Ikk Kudi, which hits theatres on September 19. Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the film not only marks an important release for Gill but also her debut as a producer.

To build excitement ahead of the premiere, the makers have dropped a brand new track titled When and Where, composed and sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh and penned by Jind Mahi.

The song, which released on August 18, features both Shehnaaz Gill and Honey Singh.

Taking to Instagram, Honey Singh shared a snippet of the track with the caption, “When and Where from the film Ikk Kudi out now!! Check it out and vibe with us @shehnaazgill.” The clip highlights their on-screen chemistry, with Shehnaaz donning a Jamaican-inspired look while Honey brings in his trademark swagger.

Fans were quick to react on social media. One admirer wrote, “Totally loved it,” while another described it as a “nice dreamy song.” Others praised the refreshing pairing, calling the vibe “hatke” and “superb.” The buzz clearly suggests that the track has struck a chord with listeners.

Ikk Kudi itself is a woman-centric drama exploring the struggles of a young woman navigating marriage and societal expectations. Alongside Shehnaaz, the film stars Nirmal Rishi, Harby Sangha, and Udaybir Sandhu in pivotal roles. Originally slated to release on June 13, 2025, the film’s premiere was pushed back to September.

While Ikk Kudi is Shehnaaz’s big producing step, she also has another comedy-drama, Sab First Class, co-starring Varun Sharma, in the pipeline. Directed by Ballwinder Singh Jaluja and produced by Murad Khetani, that project is expected to release on OTT, though its date is yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Yo Yo Honey Singh continues to enjoy success with his music. His recent track One Thousand Miles, released on T-Series’ YouTube channel, received an enthusiastic response from fans. With When and Where, he adds another potential chartbuster to his repertoire, while giving Ikk Kudi a promotional boost ahead of its theatrical release.
