Shefali Shah to visit Mahakumbh with family, writes, "Moments turn into memories with my people"

Shefali Shah, known for her roles in Darlings and Delhi Crime, is the latest star to attend the Mahakumbh. On Wednesday, the actress gave fans a glimpse of her trip to the sacred event with her family, joining a host of celebrities embracing the spiritual experience.

Actor Shefali Shah, renowned for her performances in Darlings and Delhi Crime, is the latest celebrity to visit the Mahakumbh. On Wednesday, she shared a glimpse of her journey to the sacred event with her family, joining the growing list of stars embracing the spiritual gathering.

Shefali took to Instagram on February 12 and shared a series of photos featuring Shefali and her family members along with the caption, "Moments turn into memories with my people."

In one of the pictures, Shefali is seen with her husband and director Vipul Shah their sons. Also seen in JD Majethia – director and producer of hit shows like Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, Waghle Ki Duniya and many more.

Also accompanying them is Deven Bhojani, veteran actor Annu Kapoor with his wife.


This year, the Maha Kumbh festival saw a host of celebrities taking part in the sacred tradition of the holy dip. Bollywood stars such as Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Vijay Deverakonda, Milind Soman, Bhagyashree, and Hema Malini were among those who attended. The event also attracted international figures, including Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson, adding to its global appeal.

The 2025 Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj commenced on January 13 and will continue until February 26. During this time, millions of devotees gather to perform sacred rituals and take holy dips at the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers meet. The grand festival is anticipated to welcome nearly 400 million visitors, making it one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the world.

On the work front, Shefali was last seen in the film Neeyat, alongside Vidya Balan, Ram Kapoor, Prajakta Kohli and others.
