Smriti Irani is returning to the iconic Star Plus show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi reboot special, and the network has recently doubled the excitement among the fans with the release of the new teaser, reuniting the OG cast members.

In the recently released title track of the show, the original cast of Kyunki, TV actors like Shakti Anand, Ritu Seth, Gauri Pradhan, Hiten Tejwani, Amar Upadhyay, Kamalika Guha Thakurta, Ketki Dave, and others reunited.

The video was captioned, “Camera ke peeche chhupi hai dosti, hasi aur bahut saari yaadein. Tulsi ke saath safar phir se shuru ho raha hai, aap saath chalenge? Dekhiye #KyunkiSaasBhiKabhiBahuThi, 29th July se raat 10:30 baje sirf StarPlus par, aur kabhi bhi JioHotstar par.”

In the video, the cast also shared their excitement and reflected on their characters. Shakti Anand recalled in the clip that he made his debut with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Further in the video, Kamalika Guha Thakurta reflected on the full circle moment, calling it surreal. She shared that she played the role for eight years and expressed her excitement for returning to the set after 25 years.

Meanwhile, Hiten and Gauri called returning to the set felt like homecoming.

Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay will reprise their iconic characters of Tulsi and Mihir once again in the highly anticipated reboot.

For the unversed, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi first premiered in July 2000 and instantly became a household favourite. The TV serial ran for eight years before going off-air in 2008.

Alongside the returning cast, new faces like Rohit Suchanti, Aman Gandhi, and Shagun Sharma are also joining the show. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi reboot will premiere on July 28 on Star Plus.
