Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is all set to make his directorial debut with the upcoming Netflix series, The Ba**ds of Bollywood.

King Khan played the perfect host at the preview premiere event held in Mumbai today and shared an update on his injury.

Shah Rukh made a grand entrance at the preview launch in an all black look. The superstar, who has lost a lot of weight, had his right hand in a sling. He got injured during the shoot of his upcoming movie King.

And during the event while giving an update on his health, he joked and said: “Injury choti nahi thodi si badi thi, ek do mahina lagega recover me lekin national award ke liye mera ek haath hi kaafi hai (The surgery was not small, it was a little big. It will take 1-2 months to recover from it. But one hand is enough to win the national award).”

The actor continued, “Actually, main zyaadaatar kaam ek haath se karata hoon. khaana khaata hoon, brush bhi kar leta hoon, piche khujli hoti hai to wo bhi kar leta hoon (Actually, I do most of the things with one hand. I eat food, I brush my teeth. If there is a horse behind me, I do that too).”

He added, “Sirf ek cheez me kami hoti hai jab mere paas do haath hote hai aur vo hai aapaka pyaar batorne ke liye. (There is only one thing missing when I don't have two hands. And that is to collect your love).”

Shah Rukh then talked about Aryan’s show and said, “Coming to the show, Aryan ne jab mujhe bataya ki papa mai ek show karne wala hoon, Bollywood ke upr raw, edgy aur usme kuch madness hogi to mujhe laga kahin ye Mannat ka CCTV to nhi YouTube pe dalne wala hai (when Aryan told me that he is going to do a show on Bollywood that is raw, edgy and has some madness in it. So I thought, is he going to put Manat's CCTV on YouTube?).”

He further noted, “Which is actually getting something fresh and unique. And I'll be honest, it took me a little while to reach, to really catch on and to catch the tone of the show. But once I did, I was completely drawn in. And honestly, I am really very happy about it.”

The actor complimented the performance of the cast and crew of the upcoming series.

He was seen with his wife, Gauri Khan, who was a proud mom on stage with her son Aryan.
