Shah Rukh Khan expresses gratitude as Jawan marks its one-year milestone

Jawan is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film co-written and directed by Atlee in his Hindi film debut.

Shah Rukh Khan's film Jawan marked its one-year anniversary on September 7th. To celebrate the occasion, SRK took to social media to share a heartfelt message, thanking fans for the immense love and support the film received.

The actor shared a video of the movie along with the note, "The film that we made with a lot of heart… has turned one year ‘old’ today… or shall I say one year ‘Jawan’. Without the storytelling, skill and vision of @atlee47 , this film wouldn’t have been possible and of course… massy massy massy!!! Sending my love to the team that toiled away to make this film what it is — @nayanthara @actorvijaysethupathi , @deepikapadukone , all the Chief’s girls and @redchilliesent !! And thank you to the audiences for accepting our film with such love and happiness!!!"

Jawan featured an impressive ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Riddhi Dogra, among others. Notably, Jawan marked Shah Rukh Khan's first collaboration with South Indian superstar Nayanthara, and their on-screen pairing proved to be a massive hit.

Jawan is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film co-written and directed by Atlee in his Hindi film debut. It is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role as father and son who team up to rectify corruption in society.

Directed by Atlee, the film garnered a total of 14 nominations at the 69th Filmfare Awards.

Jawan was a massive box office success. It became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023, raking in approximately ₹1148 crore.
