Shah Rukh Khan confirms Siddharth Anand is directing his upcoming movie King with daughter Suhana Khan

SRK confirmed Siddarth Anand is directing King

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has finally confirmed that Siddharth Anand is going to direct his upcoming movie King, where he will be seen sharing screen space with daughter Suhana Khan.

Siddharth Anand has previously directed SRK’s superhit movie Pathaan. During the event in Abu Dhabi, Shah Rukh Khan also said that his upcoming actioner would be loved by all.

“I am just just shooting it. I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. I can’t tell you but I can assure you that it will be entertaining. You will enjoy it," he said.

In a video from the event that is being circulated on social media, SRK can be seen telling the crowd that for the first time any movie will present "Shah Rukh Khan as Shah Rukh Khan King." “The team is working very hard. We are making a great film for everyone," he further said.

Shah Rukh Khan's next offering King will mark the big screen debut of his daughter Suhana Khan. There are reports that Munjya actor Abhay Verma is also going to play a pivotal role in the film. Abhishek Bachchan will join SRK and Suhana in the film as an antagonist.

Last year, at the Locarno Film Festival when Sujoy Ghosh was going to direct the movie, Shah Rukh Khan had said, “It is an action drama, it’s a Hindi film. It’ll be interesting. I’ve been wanting to do a film like that for some time, and I really wanted to do a film like this for seven, eight years. We just felt Sujoy would be the right choice, because we wanted it to be very emotionally correct. We are all coming together to make a cool, massy, action, emotional film."

King is still in the shooting stage and the teaser or release date of the movie is yet to be announced.
