Before making his eagerly awaited debut at the esteemed Met Gala 2025, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has officially arrived in New York City.

King Khan will walk the famous red carpet for the first time at the event, which is set for May 5 at the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art. He will join the ranks of Indian celebrities who have previously left their mark on the world fashion scene.

Excitement among fans has reached a fever pitch after the superstar was spotted at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Several photos and videos of Shah Rukh Khan have since gone viral across social media platforms.

His fan club, ‘Team Shah Rukh Khan Srinagar’, shared candid snapshots of the actor at the airport, where he was seen warmly greeting and hugging a fan who approached him. His longtime manager, Pooja Dadlani, also appeared alongside him in the pictures. Dressed casually yet stylishly, Shah Rukh was seen carrying his own bags, further endearing him to fans with his grounded demeanour.

In a separate video that has taken the internet by storm, the actor is shown being escorted by a US customs official while briefly interacting with fans. As he exited the airport terminal, he graciously shook hands with a fan and waved at the crowd before swiftly making his way to a waiting car.

A fan who captured the video emotionally captioned it, “SRK… dream come true." For his travel look, Shah Rukh kept it effortlessly cool in a white tee, grey hooded jacket, and loose-fitting cargo jeans.

For his Met Gala appearance, Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly wearing a stunning outfit created by Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi, which is sure to be a show-stopper.
