Sarah Jane Dias and Anshuman Jha have collaborated for an exciting project

Actor and former Miss India Sarah Jane has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated sequel, Lakadbaggha 2 – The Monkey Business. She will star alongside actor and filmmaker Anshuman Jha.

The news was confirmed on the official social media account of the film’s production house, First Ray Films. The post featured a photo of Sarah and Anshuman posing with the comic book of the film with the same title.

The announcement reads, “Together, they’ve got tex(t) appeal and bite. The pack gets fiercer as @sarahjanedias joins @theanshumanjha in the animal lover vigilante universe #Lakadbaggha BIG Announcement SOON.”

Meanwhile, Sarah and Anshuman have reflected on their excitement about the project. Anshuman expressed his excitement about the casting and said, “Sarah brings a quiet storm to the screen. Her strength, elegance, and depth make her a perfect fit for the world of Lakadbaggha.”

He added, “This time, the pack isn’t just back, it’s stronger, fiercer, and far more layered. With Riddhi and now Sarah, we’re expanding both the emotional resonance and the reach of this universe.”

Meanwhile, Sarah also shared similar enthusiasm and admitted that she loved the first instalment of the film, adding, “The moment I heard about the concept of the Animal Lover Vigilante Universe expanding, I was excited. It’s rare to find a project that blends action with a genuine purpose, protecting the voiceless.”

Directed by Anshuman Jha, the sequel will delve into the dark world of illegal primate trade and global conspiracy. The film is currently in production and is expected to push the boundaries of Indian action cinema while championing a deeply compassionate message.
