Sanjay Dutt is currently enjoying one of the strongest phases of his career, with a steady run of big-ticket films keeping him firmly in the spotlight.

His recent appearance in Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge has only added to that momentum, placing him in conversations about some of Bollywood’s biggest box office milestones.

As Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues its explosive run in cinemas, industry chatter has started focusing on the film’s long-term box office potential, with expectations that it could eventually cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark.

If that happens, it would become another major addition to Sanjay Dutt’s growing list of record-breaking projects. He has already been part of massive successes like KGF: Chapter 2 and Jawan, where his supporting roles contributed to the films’ wider appeal.

This also brings him closer to overtaking Deepika Padukone in the list of Indian stars with the most Rs 1,000 crore films. Deepika Padukone currently has three such blockbusters to her name, including Pathaan, Jawan and Kalki 2898 AD, all of which were major commercial successes with leading roles.

For Ranveer Singh, the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge is also being seen as potentially historic. If its box office run continues at the same pace, it could help him become one of the fastest Indian actors to reach two Rs 1,000 crore films in a very short span.

At present, that record is held by Shah Rukh Khan, who achieved back-to-back Rs 1,000 crore films with Pathaan and Jawan within nine months.

Another major name in this elite space is Prabhas, who has already delivered two such films with Baahubali: The Conclusion and Kalki 2898 AD. Overall, only a small number of Indian films have managed to cross the Rs 1,000 crore milestone, making it one of the most exclusive achievements in the industry.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s workload shows no signs of slowing down. He has several projects lined up, including Raja Shivaji, Dhamaal 4, Hera Pheri 3, Dus, 7 Dog and Janmabhoomi, along with an upcoming untitled film alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
