Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was recently seen in spy thriller Citadel: Honey Bunny, engaged in a fun conversation with her co-star Varun Dhawan. And during that conversation she took a dig at her ex husband Naga Chaitanya.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya married in 2017 but parted ways in 2021 after being together for 4 years. And Samantha has indirectly hinted that their divorce an amicable one.
Naga Chaitanya is going to tie the knot soon with girlfriend Sobhita Dhulipala. Samantha took a dig at Naga by saying spending money on her ex as useless.
Samantha and Varun came together for a 'spy-cy' rapid-fire round where the two asked each other some fun and shocking questions, and they were to answer it with total honesty. If they failed to do so, they were to eat chillies. Samantha said she likes chillies and went ahead with answering the questions.
Varun asked Sam about her most ridiculous expense for something useless.

Samantha quickly replied spending money on ex's expensive gifts. Varun cross-questioned her about the amount to which Samantha laughed and said that it was quite a bit. "My exes expensive gifts," she said.

Samantha has never directly spoken about her divorce with Naga but has always hinted that it wasn't an amicable one.
Recently she also spoke about motherhood and said that she is looking forward to embracing this phase too.
"I don’t think it’s too late. I still have dreams of being a mother and yeah of course I would love to be a mother. I have always wanted to be a mother, it’s quite a beautiful experience. I am looking forward to it. People often worry about age, but I think there is no time in life when you cannot be a mother," she told TImes Now.
Samantha also spoke about being diagnosed with myositis and also shared that now she is in a happy space. "I'm in a very happy space right now. I know how to take care of myself and focus on what matters. I think I’m in a very good phase in life. I’m genuinely very happy and I feel I’m blessed to have the opportunity to live every day to the fullest and I think that I might not have been so grateful for an ordinary day before. But now I am!"
