Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently made headlines after being spotted in the city, flashing his million-dollar smile and charming fans with his casual, dapper look. Greeting the paparazzi with warmth and humility, Salman looked every bit the star that his fans adore. The interaction took place during the trailer launch of his upcoming action-packed film Sikandar, which has already created immense buzz across the country.

At the event, Salman Khan expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans and admirers for their continued support throughout his journey. In a playful tone, the actor acknowledged that the audience’s love consistently propels his films to cross major box office milestones, irrespective of their quality. Referring to the Rs 100 crore benchmark, Salman quipped that the number was outdated, and now the target had shifted to ₹200 crore, drawing laughter from the audience.

Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar is slated for a grand theatrical release on March 30, 2025, just in time for Eid — marking Salman’s much-awaited return to the Eid release calendar after a short break. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Sathyaraj.

The trailer of Sikandar has already taken the internet by storm, building anticipation among fans. According to sacnlik.com, over 76,000 tickets for Hindi 2D and 282 tickets for Hindi IMAX have been sold, with four days still to go before its release. Early box office projections indicate an opening day collection of Rs 6.61 crore, with the film scheduled to be screened in 9,128 shows nationwide.

While expectations are sky-high, Salman’s recent box office performances have seen mixed responses. His Diwali 2023 release Tiger 3 garnered Rs 286 crore nett in India but received lukewarm reviews. Similarly, his 2023 Eid release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaanfell short of the Rs 200 crore club, earning Rs 180 crore nett worldwide.

All eyes are now on Sikandar, with fans hoping it marks a spectacular comeback for Salman Khan at the box office. With the buzz building and the star’s unbeatable fanbase rallying behind him, Sikandar is all set to be one of 2025’s biggest releases.
