Salman Khan's nephew Ayaan Agnihotri talks about actor’s support and wisdom, says "He did not let it get in our heads that..."

While Salman Khan is widely known as the "universal bhai" in the film industry, his softer side emerges when he is around his nephews and nieces. Ayaan Agnihotri, son of Alvira and Atul Agnihotri, recently opened up about his relationship with the superstar during an interview.

Ayaan, who also goes by the stage name Agni, described Salman as “loving and funny,” emphasising his unique approach to balancing affection and discipline with the younger generation of the Khan family.

Ayaan spoke fondly of how Salman, despite his larger-than-life persona, is always the first to guide them when needed.

While talking to India Today, he mentioned "It's a beautiful balance of all love and also being tough. He has never let us feel that we have got it easy." Salman, according to Ayaan, has always made sure the younger family members understand that success is not guaranteed simply because of their family name. "He did not let it get in our heads that things would be easy for us because other members of the family worked hard and made it," Ayaan shared.

Salman’s advice on success and failure resonates deeply with his nephews and nieces. “He told us that we should be willing to commit to our life regardless of whether we succeed or fail,”

When asked if Salman has motivational talks with the family, Ayaan revealed that such moments often occur during family lunches, dinners, or when they’re together at Salman’s Panvel farmhouse. "There are no sermons, but he likes to express or introspect out loud to us about life, and how things and people are," Ayaan explained.

He further noted that Salman’s wisdom encourages them to focus on the fundamentals of life, always urging them to respond with kindness, even to those who may wish them harm. “He has always asked us to be the best to people who want us to be bad to them. That is the greatest response to them."

Salman, Sohail, and Arbaaz Khan have undoubtedly played a pivotal role in shaping the younger generation of the family, offering wisdom, support, and unconditional love.
