In her most recent vlog, director and choreographer Farah Khan treated viewers to an entertaining tour of Arpita Khan and her husband, actor Aayush Sharma,'s opulent Mumbai home. The lavish flat, which Aayush himself referred to as the "Dubai of Mumbai," astounded Farah and the audience, but what really made the show was the couple's open admissions about food and chefs.

During a light-hearted chat, Aayush revealed a rather unexpected household decision. Upon learning the hefty salary drawn by their in-house cook, he decided it was more economical to simply order food.

“I asked my cook how much he gets paid, and I got a heart attack after I heard the number. I realised that ordering food from downstairs is cheaper than paying him his monthly salary,” he quipped. To everyone’s surprise, their residential complex includes its own restaurant. Farah’s jaw dropped at the revelation, exclaiming, “You really are very rich.”

Arpita then shared that they currently get their daily meals from her mother Salma Khan’s kitchen—yes, that Salma Khan, the matriarch of the iconic Khan family. Homemade tiffins are sent not just to Arpita and Aayush, but also to Arbaaz and Sohail Khan.

Just when Farah thought she’d heard it all, Aayush casually added that during a recent trip to Finland, they flew in a private chef. The reason? He couldn’t manage too long without Indian food. “That’s it, I’m going back home,” Farah mock-proclaimed, laughing uncontrollably.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Farah has sparked laughter over cooks and their salaries. In an earlier vlog with actor Sunny Singh, she joked about her own cook, Dilip, who is now something of a social media sensation. “Agar mai tereko bolungi na iski pagaar kitni hai, toh Rohit tereko chhor ke mere paas aajayega!” she told Sunny, as he helped Dilip practice asking for a raise—in Punjabi, no less.

Farah’s vlogs continue to blend celebrity access with real-life humour, offering a delightful mix of glamour and groundedness.
