Salman Khan recently appeared on his nephew Arhaan Khan’s podcast, Dumb Biryani, where the two engaged in a candid conversation about life. During the episode, the superstar shared his approach to staying motivated, his dedication to work, and his minimal sleep routine—revealing that he only sleeps for two hours when he has nothing else to do.
Talking during the podcast, Salman said, “I generally sleep for a couple of hours, and once a month, I get 7–8 hours a day. Sometimes, I sleep when I get a few minutes’ break between shoots. I can only sleep when I don’t have anything else to do."
He went on to mention that he gets proper sleep only in certain situations, such as when he was in jail or during turbulence on a flight, as he feels there is nothing he can do in such moments.
Salman emphasized the importance of taking action rather than making excuses, stating that losing enthusiasm means allowing oneself to age prematurely. "That should never happen. You don’t say, ‘I am tired...’ Get up, and do something. Don’t say ‘I can’t sleep...’ Just do something long enough for your body to get tired and fall asleep," he added.
Salman, who is currently busy filming for the film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, also spoke on how to handle success. he said, ""Work really hard, and when you finally make it, do share the credit with all the people who helped you make it. You can take absolute responsibility for your failures, but success is never just yours. If you allow it to get to your head, you will get messed up, for sure."
