Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently took to social media to lend his support to Yash Raj Films’ upcoming intense romantic drama Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Akshaye Widhani.

Sharing the film’s trailer on his Instagram Stories, Salman wrote, “Good luck Ahaan & Aneet. #Saiyaara releasing in theatres on 18th July,” offering a major endorsement for the film that marks the highly anticipated debut of Ahaan Panday and introduces Aneet Padda in a leading role.

Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, who is credited with reinventing modern romance in Bollywood with films like Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, and Malang, will be released in theatres worldwide on July 18, 2025.

As the first joint venture between Yash Raj Films and Mohit Suri, the film is presented by Aditya Chopra under the YRF banner, making it a particularly significant cinematic occasion.

Since its release earlier this week, the trailer has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from both critics and viewers. Many have praised the film's powerful visual storytelling, the leads' captivating chemistry, and Suri's signature emotional depth.

With seven years of experience in YRF's talent division and a wealth of Aditya Chopra's mentoring, Ahaan Panday's on-screen debut in Saiyaara is all the more eagerly awaited.

He plays opposite Aneet Padda, who is known for her work in Salaam Venky and Big Girls Don't Cry on Amazon Prime. Her portrayal of a soulful poet-songwriter battling love and heartbreak in Saiyaara adds depth and vulnerability to the film.

The movie's soundtrack, which is already regarded as the best album of the year, is contributing to its buzz.

With Faheem-Arslan’s Saiyaara title track, Jubin Nautiyal’s Barbaad, Vishal Mishra’s Tum Ho Toh, Sachet-Parampara’s Humsafar, and the stirring Dhun by Arijit Singh and Mithoon, the film promises to deliver a musical experience on par with Mohit Suri’s legacy of genre-defining romantic soundtracks.
