Tiger VS Pathaan to happen soon?

Since it was first revealed that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan would be sharing the screen together—not just in cameo roles but in a full-fledged collaboration, bringing their iconic franchises Pathaan and Tiger to new heights—fans have been buzzing with excitement.

The prospect of these two Bollywood superstars joining forces for an epic film had created massive anticipation. However, much to the disappointment of their fans, Salman Khan recently confirmed that Tiger vs Pathaan will not be happening for the time being.

In an exclusive interaction with News 18, Salman broke the news, dashing hopes for an immediate crossover between the two hugely successful spy characters. This revelation has left fans heartbroken, who were eagerly awaiting the grand spectacle of the two icons coming together. While the idea of Tiger vs Pathaan was initially teased as an exciting possibility, it appears that fans will have to wait a little longer before this dream project becomes a reality.

Although it’s unclear when or if the film will eventually happen, the anticipation surrounding the prospect of this iconic collaboration continues to grow, with many still holding out hope for the future.

During the conversation, Salman spoke candidly about the Yash Raj Films spy universe movie, which was previously believed to be in the works.

As per Zoom, insiders revealed, back in February 2024, Salman and Shah Rukh had reportedly given their dates for an April shoot, with plans to film the movie over the summer. “SRK and Salman have given their dates. As things stand today, the film should go on floors no later than April. The balance cast is being decided. The other modalities are fast being worked out,” the source told Zoom TV.

In 2023, Salman had seemingly confirmed the project’s development when asked about Tiger vs Pathaan in an interview with Variety. He responded, “Tiger is always ready – so whenever things are locked – I will be there.”

The project was expected to be mounted on a grand scale, with a budget reportedly set at Rs 300 crores, as per another insider. This ambitious budget reflected the high stakes and excitement surrounding the film, which fans were eagerly anticipating.

On the work front, Salman Khan's fans are eagerly awaiting Sikandar, which is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. Directed by AR Murugadoss and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar marks Salman’s return to Eid releases after a gap.

The film is aiming for a grand release on March 30, and many are wondering if it will cross the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office, a target that could potentially be surpassed given Salman’s immense popularity and the festive occasion.
