Saiyaara crosses 200 Crore in just 9 days

Saiyaara, the musical romance that has swept the country, doesn't seem to be slowing down. Under the direction of seasoned filmmaker Mohit Suri and starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the movie is not only touching viewers' emotions but also shattering box office records.

Following an incredible first week, the movie continued to rise into its second weekend, officially surpassing the Rs 200 crore milestone, which is uncommon in the 2025 film industry.

As per Sacnilk, On its second Friday, Saiyaara collected a staggering ₹18.50 crore, a figure that already placed it among the top performers of the year. But the true triumph came on Day 9, as early trends suggest the film raked in an additional ₹25.5–₹26.5 crore, marking a spectacular 40% jump in just 24 hours.

According to estimates, Saiyaara earned around ₹26.50 crore net in India on its ninth day. With this, the film’s cumulative net total stands between ₹219.25 crore and ₹220.25 crore, firmly securing its place in the ₹200 crore club. It is now only the second Bollywood film of 2025 to achieve this milestone, following Chhaava. Notably, other major releases such as Sikandar, Sitaare Zameen Par, Raid 2, and Housefull 5 have yet to reach this benchmark.

The movie's popularity is further supported by its Day 9 Hindi (2D) occupancy numbers. The turnout for the morning shows was a respectable 20.80%, which increased to 42.06% in the afternoon, reached a peak of 43.43% in the evening, and finished the day with a remarkable 53.12%.

It's evident that audiences are fully enjoying this contemporary love tale, which is full of poignant performances and uplifting music, as Saiyaara enters its second Sunday. With such remarkable momentum, everyone is now watching to see if the movie can top the year's highest grossing movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which finished at ₹153.55 crore, a total that Saiyaara has already easily surpassed.
