Actor Saif Ali Khan made his way back home on Tuesday after being discharged from the hospital, where he had spent five days recovering. Videos that surfaced on social media showed his house beautifully lit up, adding to the warm atmosphere of his return. Fans and well-wishers expressed relief and joy as Saif returned to the comfort of his home, marking a positive chapter after the challenging incident.
Videos circulating on social media showcase Saif Ali Khan's residence beautifully lit up and decorated as he returned home from the hospital. The actor had been stabbed six times by an intruder, Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad, during an attempted robbery at his Bandra home early Thursday morning.
Following the stabbing, Saif Ali Khan was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he received surgical treatment for injuries to his spine, neck, and wrist. The medical team successfully removed a 2.5-inch portion of the knife that had been embedded in his body.
Meanwhile, the police made a breakthrough in the case on Saturday night by arresting the accused. They tracked a digital payment made by the suspect at a food stall near Century Mills in Worli, where he had ordered Bhurji Pav, a popular scrambled egg dish, along with a bottle of water.
Police officials revealed that the digital footprint left by the suspect played a crucial role in helping them trace his whereabouts to Thane. Search teams were quickly deployed in the area to locate him.

CCTV footage also captured the accused around 7 a.m. near the Bandra railway station, where he was seen walking and had changed his clothes. A court has remanded the accused in police custody for five days, with the judge noting that the possibility of an international conspiracy could not be ruled out.
Additionally, the police have recreated the crime scene at Saif Ali Khan's residence, working with the accused to piece together the sequence of events.
