Sai Pallavi, meanwhile, was chosen to play Sita because of her inherent grace, beauty, and simplicity. The actress, who was well-known for not wearing a lot of makeup or getting cosmetic surgery, fit the makers' idea of Sita as a strong, pure woman. Her emotional intensity and grounded on-screen persona further cemented her as the perfect fit.
