Television star Rubina Dilaik has shared a deeply personal account of the devastation caused by relentless rainfall and landslides in Himachal Pradesh, a region currently grappling with severe destruction.

In a moving note to her followers, the Chotti Bahu actress described the past few days as nothing less than a “roller coaster,” reflecting on the havoc wreaked on homes, roads, and fields. She posted a carousel of images that included pictures of herself, moments with her young daughters, her sister Rohini Dilaik, and visuals of landslides, as well as striking shots of the sky.

“Past 5 days were a roller coaster! Landslide and heavy rains in Himachal has caused a lot of damage to roads, highways, fields, in short many families are affected severely! My heart goes out to those (including my relatives) who are suffering!” she wrote.

Reassuring her well-wishers, Rubina confirmed that she and her family are safe. She expressed her gratitude for their wellbeing despite the chaos. “I just wanted to say I am safe and so is my family with God’s Grace, though I couldn’t hold my daughters in my arms for long, I am grateful they are healthy and happy and off course in a protected environment!”

Her words captured both the distress and resilience experienced by countless families in the state, many of whom are struggling with blocked highways, damaged farmland, and communities cut off by treacherous conditions. Yet, her reflections also carried a sense of hope, thankfulness, and admiration for the strength of those enduring the crisis.
