OTT platforms are preparing for the weekend with a wide range of Telugu and Malayalam releases, including family dramas, crime thrillers, and mythological sagas.

There is a ton of binge-worthy content available in this week's digital premieres, regardless of your preference for an epic retelling from Indian mythology or a gritty police story. This is a brief overview of what will be available for streaming on July 24 and 25.

Ronth - JioHotstar

Renowned writer-director Shahi Kabir's tense, realistic police drama Ronth is already available for streaming. In the movie, Roshan Mathew plays a rookie police officer assigned to a rigorous night patrol with Dileesh Pothan's senior officer Yohannan. The film, which is well-known for its unvarnished portrayal of police dynamics, has generated both acclaim and criticism for its uncompromising approach to the realities of law enforcement.

Samshayam - Manorama Max

Manorama Max is currently streaming this heartwarming family film, which debuted in theatres on May 16. With its combination of heart, humour, and realistic domestic themes, Samshayam, starring Vinay Forrt and Sharaf U Dheen, captured the hearts of viewers. An excellent choice for audiences seeking morally upright narratives.

Ittymaani: Made in China (Telugu) – ETV Win

This comedy-drama, which debuted in Malayalam in 2019, now debuts in Telugu on ETV Win. The film, which was directed by Jibi and Joju and starred Radhika Sarathkumar and Honey Rose, did not do well in theatres but is anticipated to attract new viewers through over-the-top (OTT) platforms thanks to its eccentric plot and lively characters.

Kannappa - Prime Video

The mythological epic Kannappa, which stars Manchu Vishnu in the title role, is one of the week's most anticipated OTT releases. Prabhas, Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, and Akshay Kumar are among the all-star cast members of the Mukesh Kumar Singh-directed movie. Kannappa promises a grand cinematic experience at home with its breathtaking visuals and deep spiritual core.

Show Time - Sun NXT

This suspenseful crime thriller, which centres on a middle-class family involved in an unintentional murder, stars Naveen Chandra. They struggle with the repercussions of their decisions as panic and guilt set in. Raja Ravindra, VK Naresh, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla are also part of the cast. Anticipate psychological strain, suspense, and an engrossing moral dilemma.

Both Telugu and Tamil versions of Vijay Antony's gripping crime drama Maargan are available on Prime Video. The movie, which Antony co-produced, composed, and acted in, was released in theatres in late June. Samuthirakani, Brigida, Deepshikha, and Ajay Dhishan are among the outstanding cast members of this Leo John Paul-directed film.
