With fans and the entertainment media closely monitoring their interactions, speculation about the nature of RJ Mahvash's relationship with Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal continues to pique interest.
Even though the two insist they are "just friends," Mahvash's recent remarks have sparked renewed interest in their close relationship.
In an open discussion with Instant Bollywood, Mahvash shared a unique perspective on her relationship with Chahal, emphasising the qualities she values most about him. Her response to the question of which spinner trait she would most like to emulate was sincere and prompt.
“His niceness and how humble he is,” she said. “He is genuinely one of the most caring people you’ll ever come across. He’s always available for the people he loves. I’d definitely steal that part of him.”
Curiosity has been stoked by the two's frequent appearances exchanging kind messages on social media. Following the Punjab Kings’ impressive victory over the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, Mahvash took to her online platform to show support for Chahal, writing, “One for supporting your people through thick and thin and standing behind them like a rock! We are all here for you @yuzi_chahal23.” Chahal’s response was equally affectionate: “You guys are my spine! Thank you for making me stand tall always.”
Shortly after news broke that Chahal had split from his ex-wife, Dhanashree Verma, Mahvash and Chahal were seen spending time together, sparking initial rumours about their relationship. When the two were spotted at a Champions Trophy match in Dubai, the rumours began to circulate again, even though Mahvash had previously denied them.
Mahvash is starting a new career path away from the limelight surrounding her personal life. In the digital series Pyar Paisa Profit, which is available for streaming on Amazon MX Player, she recently made her acting debut.
