Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh have long been known as one of the most relaxed and approachable celebrity couples when it comes to the paparazzi photographing their children.
During their public appearances, their sons, Rahyl and Riaan, are often seen greeting the media with joy.
Riteish recently talked candidly about his approach to having photographers around his kids and the attitude he wants them to have in an interview with Hindustan Times. He clarified that both of his sons participate in sports and spend a lot of time outside.
He revealed that when he and Genelia go out to watch their children's games, the paparazzi frequently record the moment, and he believes that everyone should learn how to deal with it. His composed demeanour highlights a well-rounded viewpoint on parenting in the public eye. “You have to talk to the kids and ensure they don’t feel entitled,” he added.
He further said, “The only thing I tell my sons is, ‘Getting clicked is an honour. When the paps ask for pictures, you thank them for clicking and move on.’”
There is no one-size-fits-all method of raising children in the spotlight, Riteish Deshmukh emphasised. He voiced the opinion that other parents shouldn't follow a particular path just because one parent does.
He asserts that parents are the best arbiters of what is best for their children and that parents should be respected if they decide to shield their children from the spotlight.
On the work front, Riteish was last seen in Housefull 5. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film boasts a star-studded ensemble featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles. The film also brings together a powerhouse supporting cast including Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangda Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, and Dino Morea.
