The latest celebrity to join the other celebrities in showering praises for Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge and Ranveer Singh’s performance is Rishab Shetty. The Kantara actor took to social media to share his thoughts on the film, which has been making waves ever since its release on March 19.

Since its release on March 19, Dhurandhar 2 has been receiving appreciation from fans as well as prominent figures such as Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda, Mahesh Babu, Kangana Ranaut, Preity Zinta and others.

Sharing his review on X, Rishab expressed admiration for the film’s scale and craft, highlighting its storytelling, technical finesse and overall impact. He wrote, "#DhurandharTheRevenge the very first scene pulls you in and never lets go. Every frame hits like a war drum. This isn’t just a sequel; it’s a statement. Brilliant storytelling, brother absolutely loved the detailing, @AdityaDharFilms."

He went on to appreciate the performances across the board, adding, "@RanveerOfficial, @bolbedibol #SaraArjun and @duttsanjay sir take a bow. Spectacular visuals by #VikashNowlakha, and a big shoutout to the technicians for elevating the film so powerfully through music @shashwatology and editing #ShivkumarVPanicker."

Director Aditya Dhar was quick to respond to the praise, writing, "Truly means a lot coming from you Brother. As a huge fan of Kantara, your words make this even more special. Grateful."

Interestingly, this is happening after a small controversy involving Rishab Shetty and Ranveer Singh was witnessed in the past. During the closing ceremony of the International Film Festival of India 2025 on November 30, Ranveer Singh imitated the sacred Daiva ritual from the movie Kantara while appreciating the film, which led to the filing of multiple FIRs against him.

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is the sequel to the first movie, which was set in the region of Lyari, Karachi—known for gang wars—in the city of Karachi. The movie was based around the intelligence activities surrounding the hijacking of the plane to Kandahar, the Parliament attack of 2001, and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The sequel to the movie is set to follow the rise of Ranveer Singh’s character, Hamza Ali Mazari, in the underworld of the city of Karachi, as well as his past as Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

The film features an ensemble cast reprising their roles, including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi and Sanjay Dutt, among others.
