Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein starring Dia Mirza, R Madhavan, and Saif Ali Khan to re-release in theatres on August 30

Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein(RHTDM), the beloved 2001 romantic drama starring R. Madhavan, Saif Ali Khan, and Dia Mirza, is making a comeback to the big screen. The film will be re-released for a week starting August 30th in PVR and Inox theatres across India, as announced by Pooja Entertainment.

The makers announced the exciting news for fans on Instagram by sharing a video along with the caption, "23 years later, love finds its way back to the big screen. Relive the magic of timeless romance with #RehnaaHaiTerreDilMein! Re-Releasing in Cinemas THIS FRIDAY 30th August 2024! Are you excited?"
The leading lady of the film Dia Mirza made her acting debut with RHTDM, making it all the more special. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein (2001) is a remake of the Tamil film Minnale, which was released the same year and featured Madhavan.

Jackky Bhagnani is excited about the news and calls the film a classic romance of the 2000s. "This film holds a very special place in my heart, as it was my first project as an Assistant Director. I was quite young at the time, and being part of the AD team gave me the incredible opportunity to work closely with Maddy, Saif, and Dia on set. It was truly inspiring to witness such talented performers in action and to be part of what would become a cult classic. Even today, the film enjoys immense popularity among the youth, with its beautiful melodies that continue to sound fresh and captivating and we are really glad to bring this back to our audiences for them to enjoy," he said.

The film's soundtrack has achieved iconic status, remaining a popular choice on social media platforms even to this day. Talking about the film's craze, Deepshikha Deshmukh says, "RHTDM remains one of Pooja Entertainment's prized jewels, cherished across generations. Its re-release will bring back many memories for many people. It's still on my playlist, a favourite album of all time. I fondly remember attending the music session with my dad, a moment when no one knew just how special this soundtrack would become."
