Veduvan Trailer Out: Kanna Ravi’s Tamil thriller explores love, duty, and redemption

Kanna Ravi starrer upcoming Tamil series Veduvan trailer officially released on September 27. The trailer of the series has already sparked excitement among its fans while offering a glimpse into an emotional and high-stake narrative.

With Kanna Ravi in the lead role, the series is supported by Sanjeev Venkat, Sravnitha Srikanth, Ramya Ramakrishna and Rekha Nair in the supporting roles. Veduvan in written and directed by Pavan and produced by Sreenidhi Sagar of Rise East

The show centres on Sooraj (Kanna Ravi), a struggling performer who gets cast in a biopic as Encounter Specialist Arun. When Sooraj discovers that Arun's life was full of secrets, risky missions, and difficult decisions, what starts out as just another opportunity to revive his career quickly into something more. Sooraj gets drawn into an exciting story where morality, love, and duty clash as reel and real begin to blend together.

Speaking about his role, Kanna Ravi stated, “Veduvan is a journey into the blurred space between reel and real. Playing Sooraj meant not only stepping into the life of a struggling actor, but also living through Arun’s battles, his choices, and his sacrifices. It’s a story about how far people go for duty, for love, and for redemption. As an actor, it challenged me in ways that left a mark far beyond the screen.”

The director of the series, Pawan Kumar, also said, “With Veduvan, my vision was to tell a story that feels both intimate and universal; a tale where love, duty, and betrayal collide in ways that test the very core of human emotions. I wanted to create a series that doesn’t just entertain but also provokes reflection, leaving viewers questioning what they themselves would do in such circumstances. Veduvan will be premiering on October 10 on ZEE5.
