Thalapathy Vijay was recently in Malaysia for the audio launch of his upcoming film, Jana Nayagan. He returned from Malaysia on Sunday and fell down at the airport while attempting to get into his car.
Vijay was surrounded by a large crowd when he walked to the exit area on his way back from Malaysia. Just before getting into the car, he stumbled and fell due to the huge crowd of people. Security guards immediately lifted him and assisted him in getting into the vehicle.
After participating in the Jananayagan audio release event, the actor-politician returned from Malaysia on Sunday night.

A car that was allegedly a member of Vijay's convoy was reportedly involved in a very minor accident on the airport grounds, according to images that were shown on various television channels.
This comes after Vijay announced his retirement from the film. Speaking at a lavish audio launch ceremony for his last movie, Vijay stated that his decision to give up performing was motivated by his appreciation for his fans.
He used a potent metaphor to describe how, upon entering the film industry, he thought he was merely constructing a "small sand house," but his supporters transformed it into a "palace" and ultimately a "fort."
The term "kottai" has significant cultural and political connotations in Tamil Nadu. In addition to being a personal stronghold, it represents Fort St. George, which has served as the headquarters of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, Secretariat, and Chief Minister's office since the state's independence. Prior to his official entry into electoral politics, Vijay's reference was widely interpreted as a clear political signal.

The audio launch, dubbed Thalapathy Thiruvizha, took place on December 27 in Kuala Lumpur's Bukit Jalil Stadium and became a historic event. The event, which attracted about 1 lakh spectators, was inducted into the Malaysian Book of Records for having the biggest audience for an audio launch.
After Sri Lanka, Malaysia is home to one of the biggest Tamil diasporas in the world. Vijay gave an emotional parting speech to supporters for about five or six hours. The event was rigorously approved by Malaysian authorities as a cultural and entertainment program with an explicit no-politics order, and strict security measures were in place.
