SS Rajamouli announces 3D animated film with Baahubali: The Eternal War'; teaser to be unveiled with Baahubali: The Epic

SS Rajamouli has announced the 3D animated movie "Baahubali: The Eternal War." The teaser will be shown with "Baahubali: The Epic." People who love Baahubali are going to be very happy.

Since producer Shobu Yarlagadda hinted at a "special surprise" that will come with the theatrical print of Baahubali: The Epic, people have been talking about it.

Now, filmmaker SS Rajamouli has made the big announcement: a new 3D animated movie set in the setting of Baahubali. Rajamouli announced the project called Baahubali: The Eternal War in a recent interview with Prabhas and Rana Daggubati.

The creative director said that the teaser for the animated movie will be shown during the break of Baahubali: The Epic, which comes out in theaters on October 31, 2025. "We're putting out a teaser for Baahubali: The Eternal War. This isn't Baahubali 3; it's a new story set in the Baahubali world. Rajamouli said, "This is a very, very high-end 3D animation."

The director further said that producer Shobu Yarlagadda has been in charge of the enormous project for more than two and a half years. The movie has a huge budget of ₹120 crore and wants to set new norms for Indian animation. Prabhas, who was plainly startled by how big the project was, jokingly said, "Rs 120 crore?

That was the initial budget we made for Baahubali! Rajamouli also said that the animation company that worked on the hit show Arcane has worked on Baahubali: The Eternal War, which adds to the excitement. This suggests that the movie will have great visuals and storytelling. Rajamouli said that Baahubali 3 will happen "someday in the future," but he also stressed that this animation project adds to the saga's legendary universe in a new way.

After seeing the preview, both Prabhas and Rana were said to be amazed by its size and grandeur. Baahubali: The Epic, a special re-edited version that combines Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, will be out in theaters on October 31, 2025. The enormous re-release, which will last 3 hours and 44 minutes, is sure to bring in huge crowds and start the Baahubali craze all over again.
