The actress took to Instagram and posted a series of photos and stories that capture her transformation into the fierce antagonist, Kanakavathi. The glimpses show her in various stages of preparation — from getting into elaborate costumes to working closely with the film’s director, Rishab Shetty.

Rukmini’s behind-the-scenes moments also include fun snippets like taking short snack breaks between takes and sharing her own sketch of actor Jayaram’s King Rajashekara. Her post was simply captioned, “Becoming Kanakavathi.”

In one of the pictures, Rukmini is seen taking horse-riding lessons for her role, while another shows detailed notes she made to study her character’s mindset.
