Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya pens heartfelt birthday tribute for her appa: "You are my universe, my life"

Rajinikanth’s 75th birthday sparked heartfelt tributes from his daughters, with Soundarya calling him her “universe” and “the emperor” while sharing her favourite photo of him. Aishwaryaa also marked the day with a sweet moment, feeding her father cake as fans celebrated the legendary actor’s milestone.

Soundarya Rajinikanth wishes her appa on his birthday

South superstar Rajinikanth is celebrating his 75th birthday and has received heartfelt wishes from his fans, friends and family members. Rajinikanth’s daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth, penned a sweet tribute on his birthday.

Soundarya took to her Instagram and shared a picture of Rajinikanth with her brother. She also called her Appa an ‘emperor’. Alongside the picture, she penned in the caption, “I am a Rajinikanth, and I am extremely proud of my legacy. And this is, without a doubt, the most favourite photo I’ve ever clicked in my life.”

She continued, “Appa… you are my universe, my life, my whole heart. I am blessed to be yours. I Love you !!!! Happy birthday to the only one… the EMPEROR! my appa !”

In another post, Soundarya reflected on directing the interview for “Appa”. Sharing the picture, she penned in the caption, “What an unforgettable, joy-filled experience directing Appa for this legendary interview! Huge love to my amazing crew we created pure magic and I’m so proud of us Happy birthday, my life Forever celebrating you, Appa, and your extraordinary journey. Enjoy the celebratory BTS of this very, very special interview!”

Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth also paid birthday tribute to the actor. She shared a picture of herself feeding her father a piece of cake. The post read, “my life, my father, happy birthday thalaiva.”

For the unversed, Padayappa was re-released in theatres on December 12. The amazing "theatre experience" that devotees relished 25 years ago has been revived. A follow-up movie based on Neelambari's role is also being discussed.
