Rajamouli reveals by Tamannaah Bhatia's song had to be removed from Baahubali: The Epic

Fans were taken by surprise when it was revealed that one of Tamannaah Bhatia’s most beloved songs from Baahubali would be missing from Baahubali: The Epic, the newly re-edited version released in cinemas this Friday. The film combines Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion into a single, seamless narrative.

Fans were shocked to learn that one of Tamannaah Bhatia's most popular songs from the Baahubali movie will not be in the re-edited version of Baahubali: The Epic, which came out in theaters this Friday.

The movie is a single story that incorporates Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

It has changed a lot, and director SS Rajamouli has finally explained why. Rajamouli talks about the missing song Rajamouli said in a recent interview with Prabhas and Rana Daggubati that some parts of the original movies have to be cut out to make the new ones flow better and be more interesting.

"By combining the two parts and taking out the rolling titles, the whole thing would have taken about five hours and 27 minutes." "The current version lasts three hours and 43 minutes," the filmmaker said. A lot of important parts were cut out, like Avanthika's love tale with Shivudu and the songs Pacha Bottesina, Kanna Nidurinchara, and Irrukupo. H

e went on to say, "Some parts of the war episodes have also been cut." Rajamouli added that every scene in Baahubali had an emotional meaning, but this time the team wanted to focus more on the story.

The first cut lasted roughly four hours and ten minutes. "We showed it to people from both the movie industry and the general public, listened to their feedback, and then cut it down to three hours and 43 minutes," he stated.

The making of Baahubali: The Epic The director said that he had been thinking of combining the two movies for over five years. "I wanted to see if the story could be told in one movie," he remarked.

At first, he tried a linear story, then abridged sequences, but neither worked. "We finally decided to cut some episodes to make it tighter," he said in the end. "We were filming in front of a green screen, so we had to use our imaginations a lot. I learned a lot about VFX and how it makes a movie better.

The movie is about a man who learns that he is a member of a royal family and sets out to fulfill his destiny.

The revised version, which has been cut down to a 3-hour-45-minute movie, will be shown in more than 1,150 theaters around the world in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.

The first two Baahubali movies broke box office records. The Beginning made ₹650 crore worldwide, while The Conclusion made ₹1,788.06 crore, making it the third highest-grossing Indian movie after Dangal and Pushpa 2: The Rule.
