Prabhas wraps up shoot for Spirit

Prabhas is back in action, and fans are thrilled. The Rebel Star has finished filming his scenes from the first schedule of his upcoming action drama Spirit, which started with a traditional pooja ceremony.

As per Pinkvilla, reports say that Prabhas started shooting the intense jail scenes, which created a gripping tone for his role as an IPS officer. After that, he filmed two nights of conversation scenes with Triptii Dimri, adding emotional weight and depth to the story.

These night scenes were reportedly filmed at a women’s college in Hyderabad, providing a unique backdrop for the narrative. The next phase of filming is expected to move to Mexico, but the producers have not officially confirmed this yet.

Spirit is turning out to be an exciting blend of action, drama, and intrigue. The newly released audio story offered fans a sneak peek of the tension, featuring a powerful exchange between Prabhas and veteran actor Prakash Raj.

While the film promises thrilling sequences, it also hints at a romantic subplot. This suggests that the movie will combine intense action with emotional moments. With Vivek Oberoi joining the cast, the producers are taking steps to keep Prabhas’ appearance a secret, leaving fans eagerly speculating.

The pooja ceremony, which megastar Chiranjeevi attended, set the tone for the shoot and brought a sense of tradition to the high-energy project. With every schedule, anticipation for Spirit grows, and fans are already buzzing about what the film will bring.

Prabhas’ plate remains full beyond Spirit. He is also gearing up for the romantic horror-comedy The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. The story follows a young man trying to sell his late grandfather’s property for quick money, only to have his plans hilariously upended by the grandfather’s mischievous spirit.

The film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt, and will now release on 9 January 2026, just in time for Pongal/Sankranti.

Prabhas will also appear in Fauzi, a period drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. This shows that the Baahubali star is exploring different genres while keeping audiences engaged.
