Shriya Saran slams fake account

Shriya Saran, an actress, has issued a strong warning after learning that someone is pretending to be her and contacting people with a fake phone number. On Wednesday, the star of Drishyam 2 used Instagram to publicly call out the impersonator and warn her fans and coworkers.

Shriya Calls Out the Fake Account

Shriya showed a screenshot of the number being used and a picture of herself. She was angry and said, "Whoever this idiot is, please stop writing to people and wasting time!" I feel bad for the people who are being tricked. "This is strange."

She also said that the impersonator had even gotten in touch with people she really looks up to in her field. "This isn't me! That's not my number! On a brighter note, the only good thing is that this awful person is talking to people I look up to and would love to work with. That's very strange! Why would you spend your time doing this? "Get a life, not someone else's."

Shriya says, "Scam Alert!"

Shriya also posted a warning on her Instagram Stories, telling people not to talk to the number at all.

"Warning: Scam... Not real. Friends are calling me to say that someone is pretending to be me. Please don't use this fake number to talk to anyone or make work arrangements. She wrote, "No payments at all."

The incident worried her fans, and many of them told her to report the cybercrime.
One fan said, "I'm really sorry you're going through this, Shriya ma'am." No one else can come close to your dignity and warmth. One person said, "Please tell cyber crime about this number." They will handle it.

A Problem That Is Getting Worse in the Industry

Shriya isn't the only actor who has to deal with people trying to impersonate her. Aditi Rao Hydari also said just a few days ago that someone had been using her name on WhatsApp to get in touch with photographers. Several Telugu actresses have had similar problems lately, which has led to warnings for fans and people in the industry to be careful and check any messages that seem strange.

At Work

Shriya recently made a special appearance in Retro, a movie directed by Karthik Subbaraj that starred Suriya and Pooja Hegde. Earlier this year, she was in the hit Telugu fantasy action movie Mirai, which Karthik Gattamneni directed. She starred with Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, and Jayaram.
