Ram Pothineni had high hopes for Andhra King Taluka, where he acted alongside Bhagyashree Borse. The team expected the movie to do well, but the final result did not match those expectations. Meanwhile, many people were curious to know how much Ram earned from this project.

Ram Pothineni was paid Rs 2.5 crore, according to industry sources, as his main remuneration. He also owned the Naizam and Guntur distribution rights along with his remuneration, and this increased his total earnings.

Ram is believed to have made around Rs 2 crore from the Naizam area and earned about Rs 40–50 lakh from Guntur. Ram’s total income from Andhra King Taluka comes to nearly Rs 5 crore when remuneration and distribution rights are combined.

Ram’s performance was appreciated even though the film didn't meet expectations. Many trade experts feel the movie’s content did not match the tastes of today’s audience.

As per Great Andhra, Andhra King Taluka has completed one week in theatres and as per reports, the movie collected around Rs 75 lakh on Day 7, taking the total first-week collection to Rs 17.70 crore. The film recorded an overall 9.44% Telugu occupancy on Thursday.

Directed by Mahesh Babu P, the romantic drama follows Sagar, played by Ram, who is a loyal fan of superstar Surya Kumar, played by Upendra. The story begins in the 1990s and explores how a mysterious deposit of Rs 3 crore creates a deep bond between the fan and his idol. Bhagyashree Borse, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Rahul Ramakrishna also play key roles.
