Baahubali: The Epic box office day 2: SS Rajamouli's grand re-release earns Rs 17.80 crore in two days

According to trade reports, the re-release is now nearing the Rs 20 crore mark at the domestic box office.

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Epic made a spectacular debut after its release on October 31, 2025. The film, which combines Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion into one grand cinematic experience, has been met with an overwhelming response from audiences across India.

According to trade reports, the re-release is now nearing the Rs 20 crore mark at the domestic box office.

On its second day, Baahubali: The Epic collected Rs 7 crore, taking its total earnings to Rs 17.80 crore. The Telugu (2D) version continued to draw strong crowds, with theatre occupancy reaching 37.34% in the morning, 58.56% in the afternoon, 58.02% in the evening, and 58.22% during the night shows — reflecting the film’s continued pull among viewers.

Meanwhile, Thama also had a strong opening weekend. It earned Rs 1.15 crore from Thursday previews, followed by Rs 9.65 crore on Friday, led by the Telugu version with Rs 7.9 crore, the Hindi version with Rs 1.35 crore, and the rest coming from the Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions.

Running for nearly three hours and forty-five minutes, Baahubali: The Epic once again brings together Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia in their iconic roles.

As per Moneycontrol's review, Baahubali: The Epic "feels like seeing Rajamouli's original vision brought back to life: a four-hour mythological opera that was too big to be released all at once. The sharper pictures and remastered sound make Mahishmathi feel like it's alive again. Every roar, every silence, and every sword clash is full of feeling."
