Atlee gives update on his upcoming film

Following the massive success of Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan, director Atlee is now deep into his next big project — this time teaming up with Pushpa star Allu Arjun.

In a recent chat, Atlee opened up about how the film is shaping up, his creative journey so far, and the exciting scale of what’s to come.

He also revealed how films like Kantara have inspired him, hinting that his latest venture will take things to an entirely new level.

Talking about how the shoot is progressing, Atlee told India Today Digital, "The shooting is going well as planned, god is so kind. Every step is a baby step. This genre of the film. There is no bible, we have already done here. So we have to incorporate lot of Bibles, lot of pipelines, work pipelines, how to make it. So we are discovering everything and we are trying to pull something bigger for the audience to give a new taste, new visualisation. Everything is falling in place."

The filmmaker, known for his grand storytelling and mass appeal, seems genuinely excited about pushing boundaries with this one.

For Atlee, trying out a new genre is not as risky as most people would think. His motivation, he says, comes from the audience who’ve supported him through each phase of his career.

"Audience are really sweet and they only pushing me every now and then. When I did Rajarani, it was a love film. Thay wanted to do something great. The love the audience give they expect something out if me so it is not a risk to be very frank I'm really enjoying the process I am trying to do something which is going to be very new, very intriguing, addictive to watch."

The film — tentatively titled AA22 x A6 — marks Allu Arjun’s return to the big screen following the roaring success of Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Atlee also teased Allu Arjun’s transformation for the role and gave a glimpse into the scale of the production: "Please wait for few months, we are working to show you something. One thing I can assure we are going to make something which we have not seen before. We are working with a lot of Hollywood people. Hollywood technicians are also working for this film, even they are also saying its very challenging film that means i think we are craeting something big."

Alongside Arjun, the film stars Deepika Padukone, with whispers that Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, and Janhvi Kapoor might also be on board.

Though nothing has been officially confirmed, one thing is clear — Atlee is gearing up to deliver a cinematic experience like never before.
