Icon Star Allu Arjun after the massive success of Pushpa 2: The Rule has reached a new level of popularity across the globe. His fan base has grown rapidly and every new project announcement is creating huge buzz. At present Allu Arjun is busy with a big budget film directed by Atlee which is said to be made on a grand scale with strong VFX and a science fiction backdrop.
Meanwhile, news about Allu Arjun’s next project has already excited fans even before this film is completed.
According to strong industry buzz, he has locked his next film with Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is expected to be produced by leading Telugu banner Mythri Movie Makers who is well known for backing large and successful projects.
Reports say that the production house has already set up a special office for Lokesh Kanagaraj in Hyderabad. So it clearly confirms how serious the team is about this collaboration. Lokesh is expected to begin location hunting from January while script discussions are already underway. Interestingly, Lokesh has rewritten his dream project titled Irumbu Kai Mayavi with several new modifications to suit Allu Arjun’s image and pan India appeal.
The story is said to be very powerful and unique and revolves around a hero who meets with a serious accident and loses one of his hands. Later a strong metal hand replaces it by giving him extraordinary strength. This concept has been in Lokesh’s mind for many years and now it seems ready to finally go on floors with Allu Arjun in the lead.
Sources suggest that the shooting of this film may begin in the second half of 2026 once Allu Arjun completes his current commitments. An official announcement is expected within a month which fans are eagerly waiting for.
