But what really caught everyone’s attention was the ring she was wearing. Her new ring instantly sparked fresh waves of speculation.

Just recently, Rashmika and Vijay shared the spotlight at the 43rd India Day Parade in New York, where they were honoured as Grand Marshals.

The event, regarded as the largest Independence Day parade outside India, saw the duo waving to thousands of cheering fans and sometimes holding hands. Videos from the parade flooded the social media, with fans making edits as they were delighted to see them together.

Before the parade, Vijay had shared a proud moment on Instagram — a video of the Empire State Building glowing in the colours of the Indian flag. Expressing his joy, he wrote: “Absolute honour! Indian tricolours bathe the iconic Empire State Building. Got to light it up on our Independence Day and also experience the beautiful hospitality of Team Empire State and the building’s stunning views and stories.”
