Rashmika Mandanna dresses as protagonist Tanjiro Kamado at Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle's screening, receives mixed reactions

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle's screening was held in Mumbai on September 7. Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Tiger Shroff, the brand ambassadors of Crunchyroll attended the event in special attire that caught everyone's attention.

Tiger and Rashmika posed happily for the paparazzi at the event on Sunday. But one of the highlights of the event was Rashmika's choice of clothing.

Rashmika Mandanna went all out in cosplay mode at the premiere, donning a brown miniskirt and a pink crop top layered underneath a crop jacket with checks. She accessorised the ensemble with red and white bows on black chunky heels. The inspiration was obvious to anime fans—her checkered jacket was a nod to the adored Demon Slayer protagonist Tanjiro Kamado.

Whereas Tiger Shroff wore a bright yellow overshirt paired with denim jeans and a casual white T-shirt, giving off a very casual yet chic vibe.

Netizens gave mixed reactions to the duo's attempt at cosplay. While some applauded the idea, others weren't as impressed.

Meanwhile, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle will be screened across theatres in India on September 12, 13 and 14. The pre-sale for tickets went live on BookMyShow on Sunday, September 7.

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Sikandar, alongside Salman Khan. She will be next seen in Maddock Film's Thama, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana.

Tiger Shroff, meanwhile, is currently seen in Baaghi 4. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by A Harsha, the action flick also stars Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa.
