Ranveer Allahbadia and Nikki Sharma allegedly unfollowed each other on Instagram

Ranveer Allahbadia, who is popularly known as BeerBiceps, recently made headlines over his controversial joke during his appearance at Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. The podcaster’s joke led to multiple FIRs and huge backlash all over the internet.

Ranveer has maintained a low profile, avoiding the media and social media. However, recent reports suggest that he and his rumoured girlfriend, Nikki Sharma, may have broken up.

Ranveer’s rumoured girlfriend has also been lately silent on Ranveer’s controversy. However, more than a month after the controversy, Nikki recently subtly addressed the matter.

A paparazzi video is going viral on the internet in which Nikki Sharma was questioned about how she deals with media scrutiny when a friend is facing troubles. She avoided directly answering the question or any comment on Ranveer and his controversy. Nikki simply responded, “I don’t answer unknown calls.”

However, the breakup rumour of the duo was fuelled soon after the controversy. They reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Ranveer recently met with the National Commission for Women to discuss the controversy. The head of the commission said Ranveer apologized and promised to behave better in the future.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has given Ranveer Allahbadia the green light to resume his podcast, The Ranveer Show, but with certain conditions. The court stated that Ranveer must ensure his podcast maintains moral and decent standards, suitable for all age groups.

This decision comes after Ranveer was temporarily restrained from airing his shows due to the controversy surrounding his comments on another program, India's Got Latent.
